HOW TO YBK: LESSON PLAN
We’re mad for mods
 
Don’t struggle with how to fill those spreads and cover those kiddos. Grab some mods and go. Find your kit, get out the posters and use this handy dandy Square One PowerPoint to teach your people. Oh, and here are some guided notes and a design vocabulary quiz.

  1. Not sure where to start? Start with this Square One video. You can watch it as many times as you want.

  2. Plan it first: Before you dive into design, make sure to plan out your pages. Use these webbing and planning sheets sheets, found in the Layout and Design section of the curriculum. You can also order full-size graph pads at YearbookDiscoveries.com/shop.

  3. Time out for type: As you start designing, it’s important to choose the right fonts. We’ve made some suggestions in the Font Book in your kit. Check out the type resources under Layout and Design.
