If you haven’t finished your yearbook, we know you’re working hard to do so. Now more than ever, your efforts and the dedication of your staffers will have such an impact on your school and community. Please know that we are all here to support you. Reps from all over North America are sharing ready-made spreads, content and lots of creative ways to fill pages without being in school. All you have to do is ask your rep!

We are collecting great coverage ideas for you as well — and we’ll keep them coming. Here are a few:

• How we did quarantine: Gather a wide variety of stories from students/families/teachers and what they did during quarantine or social distancing.

• Alone time: Top 10 Netflix/Disney+/Hulu binges. Who played with Legos? Who put on cooking shows?

• Watching the sibs: Older siblings often care for their younger brothers and sisters. Consider the possibility for adorable kid pics.

• Start over: Grab our trusty theme packet and associated resources and assign away. Consider assigning individually and then in small (virtual) groups.

• Keep on covering COVID: Coronavirus coverage should probably continue. Assign some of the stories above for next year’s book or a supplement.

• Teach J101: Our curriculum section, Intro to Journalism, has lesson plans, presentations and quizzes.

• Brush up on skills: AP Style, spelling quizzes and answer keys. All ready to go in our Reporting and Writing section.
