The deadlines are coming |

It’s November already and your spreads are coming together. Here are a few helpful hints to help you as you go from proof to submitted. |

1. Print out this resource on contraband words (words/phrases your students should be avoiding or trying not to overuse). Review if necessary. |
||||||
2. Take a look at your deadlines and make sure you will have plenty of pages ready. And, make sure you’ll have time to look them over before they are due. Deep breaths. You’ve got this! |

3. Print out spreads at 100 percent before they are submitted and make sure fonts aren’t too big or too small. This is a very common problem when you’re designing on a screen. |

4. Make sure headlines have active verbs. If your headlines are just labels, check out this resource. |

5. There’s are so many guidelines to follow. Here’s our helpful spread checklist to help you and your staffers remember to check every little detail. |
