Slide into winter break with a plan in place

We KNOW you’re ready for winter break to be here. (Like now.)

We’re right there with you, and so, here we come with a checklist that’s custom-made for the holiday season. Plus, check out the reminders below.

FLOW YOUR PORTRAITS

If you have your picture days taken care of, now’s a great time to get those portrait pages done. If you’re in eDesign, click Help and the Videos tab to get to the tutorials. And if you’re waiting for your picture downloads, plan out extra coverage for those spreads.

CHECK YOUR LISTS

Just like Santa, it’s always good to check your master lists. Is every senior included in the senior portraits section? (Consider having the parent or guardian sign a release if they say they don’t want to be included.) How about the other students and faculty members? Now’s a great time to make a not-pictured list to include at the end of the people section.

SCHEDULE CLUB PICS

If it’s not planned, at least get club picture day on the calendar. Then, you can hit the ground running after break. The People and Index section has help with this super fun task. (Pssst. Schedule a sub if you can.)

SUBMIT EARLY AND OFTEN

Remember, you don’t have to wait until the deadline to submit pages, so rack up those early days and cruise into your winter break with a song in your heart.
