HOW TO YBK
Need help with Portrait Flow? Here you go!

You may have put your portrait pages behind you, but if you haven’t, the process of flowing pages can be a tad overwhelming. We have a simple, step-by-step guide to walk you through it. Download it now.

Once you’ve got your portraits on the page, here are some other hints for getting this high-profile section just right.

1. Use your village: Print out the portrait section. (Yes. Sacrifice a few trees; don't forget to recycle them when you're finished.) Distribute the pages to homeroom teachers or teachers who see a majority of a grade level to help you proofread, matching each name to each precious face. Think of all the happy moms and grandmas.

2. Fit in more faces: The people or portrait pages are a great place for coverage. From mods to longform personal profiles, it’s nice to break up the monotony of all those little squares with coverage. Need ideas? Check out the online showcase Portraits section.

3. Don’t forget the not pictured: At the end of the section or at the end of each grade, carve out a spot to list students who didn’t make it to picture day. It might seem unnecessary today, but years from now they’ll still be listed. The coverage report in eDesign will help with this.

And remember, if you get stuck in eDesign, the Help button is just a click away.
