Our Day of Giving Promotion is just
about a month away
 
St. Jude
Did you know your school community has the opportunity to help us give to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital? Each year, we participate in the National Day of Giving, which is the Tuesday after Thanksgiving, and hold a one-day yearbook sales fundraiser.
 
For every book purchased through Yearbook Order Center on that day, Herff Jones donates a dollar to St. Jude. Last year, we donated $5,000!

New Sales Videos
New sales videos are ready for you
It's time to give your yearbook sales efforts a big boost. We have provided a video for you to download and send to parents, guardians and students. Include the version that applies to your school — there’s one for older students and another for younger students — in newsletters, principal emails and on announcements. If you have a video/broadcast program, consider adding your ordering information to the end. And if you use Yearbook Order Center, include your school’s HJ number for easier identification. Get started today!

Consistent doesn’t mean boring
If you don’t yet have your typographic ducks in a row, now’s the time. First, there are lots of teaching and learning resources in the Layout and Design section of the curriculum and some great videos in the Pivot section. Next, your entire staff should be consistently using the same character styles for everything from the largest headline to the smallest photo credit. Get started by doing Type Research with this guide and recording your choices on this organizer.
