Travel Details

Arrival: Monday, July 21

  • Registration will be open from noon CST to 2:30 p.m. CST.
  • Welcome session begins at 3:00 p.m. CST.

Departure: Wednesday, July 23

  • Departure for airport can take place after 1:00 p.m. CST.
  • Recommended flight departure time no earlier than 3:00 p.m. CST.

Additional Policies

Transportation
Attendees are responsible for their own airfare and ground transportation to and from the event. The KC Marriott Country Club Plaza is approximately 25 miles from Kansas City International Airport (MCI), while the Varsity Yearbook Plant is about 30 miles from MCI. Available transportation options include taxis, rental cars and rideshare services like Uber and Lyft.

Additional Hotel Stays
A two-night hotel stay for July 21-23 only is included for all attendees. The group rate for the Varsity Yearbook Adviser Experience applies during the event dates and extends three days before and after, based on hotel availability.

If additional nights are needed beyond this period, they will be available at a rate of $202.07 per night, including fees, and will require a separate reservation. You will be contacted with additional information if your registration form reflects dates outside of the July 21-23 window.

Cancellation Policy
Cancellations must be submitted in writing to ybk@varsity.com by June 30 to receive a full refund.

  • Cancellations before June 30 – Full refund available.
  • Cancellations after June 30 – No refunds will be given as all materials and meals will have been reserved.
