HOW TO YBK
Fill your last pages

Having trouble filling empty space on your final pages? Mods can be your go-to for quick and easy content additions.

Mods, or modular layout units, are the best way to increase coverage, and they can go everywhere in your book. They're also an easy way to fill space in your index and on other reference section spreads. Look for letters that break awkwardly and fill it in.

Need inspo? Check out our online showcase reference section.

THREE WAYS TO FILL PAGES
Add these to your getting-pages-done toolbox.

1. Lean on fellow teachers. Not only will this lesson plan benefit your yearbook pages, it may also give your History and English teacher friends a break from their own assignments.

2. Flashback to our Content Creators with 121 ideas for coverage. The best part: They’re already setup with Google Forms to help you gather information quickly and easily.

3. Find tons of inspiration from this PDF of sample mods or grab your mods poster from your kit for easy ideas.

SPEAKING OF THE INDEX

If you haven’t started yet, it’s time to put it on your calendar. The index is one of those pesky tasks that sneaks up on everyone during the final deadline days. They are a great way to cover every student, so consider including those kids who missed picture day or who started attending your school later in the year.

You can find support on page 16 of the People and Index section of the curriculum on what to add. Or, if you’re building the index in eDesign, check out this helpful document and video tutorial.
